This new Canon OSK-E3 data security verification kit enhances security by providing image data encryption and decryption features in addition to a verification function that authenticates image originality. The OSK-E3 is compatible with many EOS Digital Cameras and with Windows 2000 / XP / Vista and PC with USB 2.0 High-Speed port.

 

The original image verification data becomes embedded in every image shot with a compatible camera. Original Data Security Utility quickly verifies the originality of an image by isolating the image from the verification data and comparing the two with utmost accuracy. Image file encryption is another useful feature of the OSK-E3 since it prevents unauthorized parties from viewing, changing or wrongfully using the image in any way whether the image file was obtained via recording media or transmitted file. High-level security is assured because only authorized administrators can perform decryption.

 

Software bundled with the OSK-E3 consists of two packages: Original Data Security Utility for image originality verification and encrypted image decryption, and Original Data Security Administrator for information registration and management of the OS card. This is a remote switch with an 2.6ft cord and a self-timer, interval timer, long-exposure timer, and exposure-count setting feature.
